In a good planning with all stakeholders I identify the right methods for each step in the process. Several methods can also be combined to achieve a better result. During planning, goals, hurdles and specifics are included and considered early on.
Good products start with the people who use them. I immerse myself in their world, listen to them and observe their behavior. I transfer findings from user interviews, questionnaires or usability tests into formats that are shared throughout the team and ensure greater understanding.
I transfer the findings from the research into usage requirements and link these with the business requirements. The goal is a joint requirements catalog that defines clarity about how to proceed and also takes into account possible expansion stages.
During development, I iteratively refine the solution. I coordinate special features with architects and developers at an early stage to ensure that the solution can be implemented later. Step by step, a rough concept becomes a fine-tuned product or feature that offers users added value and inspires them in the long term.
After each iteration, the developed solution can be compared with the requirements catalog and possible weaknesses identified.
Before implementation, I discuss the result with users. The validation ensures that the developed solution is accepted and inspires users.
During the process, I talk with architects and developers about the feasibility of the solution. I use my knowledge of development to identify pain points and obstacles at an early stage. A carefully prepared and consistent design helps the developers during the handover. In a design review, I ensure the quality of the implementation after the development.
